GUSU is a curated marketplace that has redefined the way we discover and own premium goods. We specialize in "Group Buys," a model that allows our community to access wholesale prices by shopping together.

Unlike traditional retail, where middlemen and overhead can inflate prices by 3 to 6 times, GUSU only sources products directly from brands once a group buy reaches its minimum member goal. Once that goal is met, we unlock an exclusive price for the entire group—savings that are usually only available to wholesale buyers.

Our philosophy is simple: High-end quality shouldn't be out of reach. By focusing on collective demand rather than mass-market inventory, we provide a more sustainable, intentional way to shop for the pieces you love.

We unlock wholesale pricing by gathering bulk orders from small artisan brands that have low minimum orders. By operating without physical storefronts or pre-purchased inventory, we eliminate traditional overhead costs such as rent, labor, and inventory risk. Once a group buy reaches its minimum members goal, we source products directly from the brand.

To sustain our operations, we add only a small markup to each order. This collective approach allows you to bypass massive retail margins and save 30–60% on premium goods.

Unlike traditional discount sites that sell off old or overstocked inventory, GUSU gives you access to premium products directly from the artisan. We achieve these prices through the "Group Buy" model. By gathering a group of buyers upfront, we eliminate the middleman and overhead cost of operating a retail store. You aren't just buying a "sale" item; you're joining a group to unlock an exclusive, direct-from-brand price.

  1. Join a Group Buy: Select your item(s) and reserve your spot at the discounted group price. We securely hold your payment—you are only charged once the group price is unlocked after the minimum number of members has joined.
  2. Unlock the Price: Once the first member joins, you have 6 days to reach the minimum number of members. Share the link with friends to unlock the group price faster!
  3. Final 24-hours: Once the group price unlocks, the deal stays open for a final 24-hour window for a limited number of extra spots before the group ends.
  4. No Risk: If the goal isn't met within 6 days, the group buy expires and your payment is automatically released—no action required.

To help you unlock the group price faster, any item you purchase from the "same set" contributes to the same group goal.

This means you don't have to wait for others to buy the exact same products—as long as they pick any item within that set, you all move closer to unlocking your group price together. Everyone gets to pick the specific piece they love while helping the whole group save!

Each product page has a 'Share' button. Sending that link to friends and family is the fastest way to invite others and unlock your discount! While we don't offer referral credits just yet (stay tuned—they're coming soon!), sharing a group buy with your inner circle is the best way to ensure the goal is met so everyone can secure the pieces they love.

If you are the first to join, you've officially jumpstarted the group! From that moment, a 6-day window begins for others to join you. Since our model relies on collective demand, the group needs more members to "unlock" the group buy price. Share the product link to help unlock the group price together.

Absolutely! You can participate in as many Group Buys as you like. Each one will have its own tracking and timeline.

Yes! Once the initial goal is met, the group price is "Unlocked," and we open a final 24-hour window. During this window, you can still join and secure the discounted price as long as there are remaining spots available. This is a great time to jump in, as the deal is already guaranteed to move forward into the next stage where the product is in preparation.

To ensure fairness and maintain the exclusive nature of our deals, spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. If only one spot remains, the first person to complete their checkout will secure it. Once the maximum capacity is reached, that specific group buy will reset.

If you happen to miss out on a spot, don't worry! Once a Group Buy either succeeds or expires, a new group buy for that same product will typically reset shortly after. We recommend checking back soon by favoriting the product or coordinating with your friends early in the next 6-day window to ensure you can all join the same group and unlock the price together.

If a Group Buy doesn't hit its goal by the 6-day window, the group expires and any payment authorizations are automatically released. We choose not to extend timers because we believe in providing both our community and our artisans with absolute certainty.

However, an expired goal doesn't mean the deal is gone forever. The Group Buy will typically restart shortly after it expires, giving the community a fresh chance to jump in and reach the goal. You can find these groups under the "Failed" tab in your Orders page, where you can easily rejoin and help lead the next successful Group Buy!

To support the independent designers and local brands we partner with, we often set a maximum capacity for each Group Buy. These items aren't mass-produced in a factory; they are often handcrafted or manufactured in small batches.

By limiting the quantity and spots, we are protecting each artisan from being overwhelmed. This ensures the artisan can maintain their high standard of craftsmanship and that the pieces you receive remain truly exclusive and high quality.

Unlike big-box stores, we do not keep a standing inventory. We only source products once a group buy reaches its minimum goal to ensure the best possible pricing. This means your order might be made specifically for you after the group buy unlocks, especially if the artisan does not have enough stock on hand for a large bulk order.

Once the artisan completes production and ships the items to us, we perform a quality check and send them directly to your door. You will receive an email once the product is dispatched. If you ever have questions about your order's status, please go to your Order -> Order ID -> Get Help. Our team is always here to help.

Absolutely. You either get the group price (once the minimum members have joined) or you pay nothing. We only place a temporary hold on your card to reserve your spot. If the group doesn't hit its goal, you'll receive an email notification, the hold will be released automatically, and the amount will be reflected on your bank account in the next few hours. No action is required.

We only process your payment once the group price unlocks. If you join early to reserve your spot, your card is held and only charged once the minimum number of members join. If you join after the group price is unlocked, you are charged instantly.

We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and more. Available options will be presented at checkout.

You can monitor the real-time status on your "Orders" page. We also send automated email updates the moment the group buy is Unlocked/Failed, Shipped, and Delivered so you're always in the loop.

Shipping costs vary depending on the weight of the product and your delivery address. You will see the exact shipping cost clearly listed once you enter your shipping address. Remember, this amount is only held on your card and is not officially charged until the group price has been unlocked!

Because GUSU operates on a Group Buy model, production and logistics typically begin only after the group buy is unlocked and the 24-hour window concludes. This process is what allows us to secure wholesale pricing for everyone.

Regarding shipping speed (once your item is ready), we currently use one Standard Shipping method. This takes 3 to 7 days and helps us keep the price low for you.

Currently, we only ship within the United States.

Yes, you can update your shipping address by contacting GUSU support as long as your order hasn't been shipped yet. You can contact us by navigating to Order -> ORDER ID -> Get Help.

Don't worry—sometimes carriers mark a package as "Delivered" up to 24 hours before it actually arrives. Please check with neighbors or your building's mailroom first. If your package hasn't appeared after 24 hours, you can contact us by navigating to Order -> ORDER ID -> Get Help. We will do our best to help you locate your order.

GUSU handles all logistics issues directly. If your order is lost or damaged during transit, please contact our support team immediately, and we will resolve it for you.

To maintain these deep wholesale discounts, most successful group buys are final sale. However, we always honor returns for any items that arrive damaged or defective.

If your order is eligible for a return, please submit your return request through the "Orders" page within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of the defect/damage. Our team will review the details to determine the cause of the issue. If the error occurred during our preparation or packaging process, we will provide a prepaid shipping label at no cost to you.

Please note that issues resulting from carrier or customer handling may not qualify for a refund. Once the item is sent back, it will be inspected by the GUSU team to ensure it meets our refund standards. Upon passing inspection, your refund will be processed.

We typically cannot offer direct exchanges for products due to the nature of our group buy model. We kindly ask that you review all specifications and sizing carefully before committing to a purchase. If you have any questions, you can always send us a message using the 'Ask a question' button found on each product page.

Yes. You have total control while the group price hasn't yet been unlocked (still waiting for minimum number of members to join). You can click "Leave Group Buy" on your Orders page at any time to instantly release your payment hold—no questions asked.

However, you will not be able to leave the group buy once the group price has already been unlocked, because the group relies on every member to unlock the discount for everyone else.

Refunds at GUSU happen in two ways:

  • Automatic: If a Group Buy does not reach its minimum goal within 6 days, your held payment is automatically released.
  • Manual: If you return a delivered item (see our Return Policy), once we confirm receipt of the item and it has passed inspection, we will process a refund to your original payment method. Please allow 5-10 business days for the funds to appear in your bank account.

To begin a return, please request return on your Orders page within 48 hours of receiving your order. We will provide you with the necessary instructions and the return address after investigation (see our Refund Policy).

We are only able to process refunds to your original payment method. We are unable to issue refunds to a different card, different account, or different payment method.

Once your return is delivered back to us, it usually takes 3-5 business days for us to inspect the item. Once approved, GUSU will issue your refund immediately. You will receive an email confirmation the moment your refund has been initiated.

No. While you can see the total number of members in a group, your personal information, name, and payment details remain completely private and are never shared with other users.
