Christine Elizabeth Jewelry
Christine grew up and still resides in upstate New York and was born into a very creative and business-minded family. With a childhood full of daydreaming, creating art, and memorable walks with her grandma in search of 'pecial tones that parkled' - it didn't take long for designer Christine Spreng to determine her passion in life. Making jewelry was a way of life. She would often pin bracelet projects onto her pant leg so she could work on pieces anywhere. She sold her designs to family and friends, and later attended college for a major in business. In 2007, she opened her first boutique where she made and sold her designs. It was a small space and the hours were long. She specialized in bridal jewelry and pearl statement pieces. After years of her loyal customers asking for everyday pieces, her minimalist collection was born. "When you are fulfilling your passion, it brings joy to you. I want that joy to shine through in my jewelry. It's a way to spread a little light throughout the world."... Mehr
La Kaiser
Cindy Kaiser; A Swiss native, born and raised in Zimbabwe and now living the “American dream” in the windy city of Chicago. Life has been an adventure to say the least! I moved down to South Africa once High school was complete and received my BA degree in Visual Arts, specializing in Creative Jewelry and Metal Design. With my degree in hand, I hit the road once again. After a grueling 22 hour long flight, I arrived amongst the star-studded streets of Los Angeles and started a new batch of studies in Fashion at FIDM. I also apprenticed for Michael Schmidt Studios, in downtown Los Angeles and had the most phenomenal time assisting on the design and manufacture of A-list celebrity costumes for Rihanna, Madonna, the Black Eyed Peas and Kelly Rowland, to name a few. Ever since the day I left Africa, I knew that I wanted to be independent and build a lifestyle that would allow me to be creative, maintain a flexible schedule and give me the freedom to spend time between the two continents (Africa and... Michael Michaud
The Michael Michaud Design Jewelry Collection, designed by Michael Michaud, is a world-renowned collection of botanical jewelry. It captures the beauty and exquisite detail of nature using soft patinas on bronze accented with pearls, beads, stones, and more. His attention to intricate detail results in true to nature, botanical jewelry. This unique jewelry is made by creating molds directly from botanical elements in a process similar to lost-wax casting. While traditional lost-wax casting begins with a hand-carved model of wax, Michael Michaud instead uses an actual leaf, branch, or flower in place of the wax model. A mold is created around the botanical element and, as it is heated, the plant matter burns away and leaves behind a beautifully detailed mold of itself. Michael Michaud Jewelry is renowned for its beauty and workmanship and is featured in the finest museums, galleries, and specialty retailers around the world. Many collections are commissioned by leading museums such as The Victoria... Mehr
Tiro Tiro Jewelry
TIRO TIRO IS A WELL CONSIDERED LINE OF JEWELRY DESIGNED BY TERESA ROBINSON. Informed by traditional craft practices and almost 20 years of jewelry-making experience, we design enduring, covetable pieces for everyday use and enjoyment. We believe in the power of beautiful objects to inspire, delight and bring joy to the beholder, and aim to make work that does just that. Tiro comes from the latin word for a beginner or novice. To that end, Tiro Tiro embraces an era of experimentation and improvisation, drawing from our years of practice and honed expertise and then making things up as we go. Teresa Robinson is the daughter of two artists and a native of the Pacific Northwest. When she was 20 years old and studying fine art at Hampshire College, she spent 6 months in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. There, she took a jewelry class on a whim and fell in love with metal smithing. She has launched 3 successful jewelry lines over the past twenty years (Smallthings in 2001, Stone & Honey in 2008 and Tiro Tiro... Mehr
verve
I like to incorporate sterling silver and gold filled components into my work, along with my own lost wax work and high quality cubic zirconia findings, to make pieces that are modern but with a sexy, vintage vibe. I will start out with an idea and as the piece is being worked out, something entirely different will emerge. So I allow the process to flow organically and put my focus on the fun and creative aspect of it. My goal is to create jewelry that women can feel emotionally connected to. I want my jewelry to be a storyteller for the women who wear it.
